All are invited to attend the dedication of our new organ on Sunday, September 27th, at 3:00 P.M. Music will be presented by not only our Music Director, Jeff Good, but also by Matthew Wensel, Music Director at Union Lutheran Church in York and Pastor Wicky Barnes, Pastor of Shells Lutheran Church in Grantville. Pastor Barnes is also our representative with Susquehanna Organ Company who installed the organ. A dessert reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.

SENIOR SHARING
Senior Sharing will meet on Wednesday, September 2, at noon in the Fellowship Hall. Please bring a potluck dish to share but if you would like to bring your brown bag lunch, please feel free to do so. Desserts and coffee will be provided. We love to play Bingo! We ask that everyone bring a small prize to donate for bingo. Old and new members are welcome to attend. Anyone who is a senior and/or retired qualifies. For questions, please contact the church office.

BLESSING OF THE BACKPACKS AND PICNIC

The annual Backpack Blessing will be held at the 10:00 AM church service on August 23th. Children are to bring their backpacks to be blessed during the service.

A Congregational picnic will be held after the 10:00 service. The Fellowship Committee will provide hamburgers and hot dogs. The congregation is asked to bring side dishes to share. Please make sure to sign-up!

CROCHET AND KNITTING GROUP

Do you enjoy crocheting or knitting? Would you be interested in making prayer shawls and baptismal blankets? Join us on August 19th at 6:00 P.M. Feel free to bring a project to work on. No previous experience is needed; you can learn as you go. The morning group will not meet during the months of July and August.
