This Sunday, we explored what it looks like to come to Jesus the way a child does β€” empty-handed, without pretense, and completely dependent.

"Jesus isn't waiting for you to get stronger. He's meeting you in your weakness."

We looked at how Jesus welcomed the little children when everyone else pushed them away β€” and what it means for us to do the same. Whether you're carrying shame from last week or wondering if Jesus is tired of you, the answer from Scripture is simple: run to Him.

We also celebrated two incredible kids through dedication today β€” a reminder that children aren't the future of the church. They ARE the church, right now.

We had a blast this past weekend throwing our first neighborhood block party! Despite the high winds, it was a joy to meet so many of our neighbors, get our faces painted, watch kids tear it up on the bounce house, and eat some good food!

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by and who helped! πŸ₯¨πŸŽ‰

In 1927, a businessman named Paul Mazur set out to change America. His goal? Shift people from a "needs" culture to a "desires" culture β€” and it worked. Nearly 100 years later, we're more anxious and more exhausted than ever, constantly striving for the next thing.

But this past Sunday, we looked at what Jesus offers instead. In John 15, he says: "I am the true vine." Not strive. Abide.

We unpacked why Israel β€” God's original vine β€” kept failing: they forgot what God had done, and they stopped waiting on him. Sound familiar? The same two traps catch us too.

But here's the good news: Jesus is the true vine because he did what Israel never could. He always trusted the Father. He always remembered God's faithfulness. And because of his life, death, and resurrection, he invites us into something the world can't offer β€” a love that actually holds.

This week, we have one simple challenge: instead of striving, try abiding. Start or end your day with this prayer β€” "I am your dearly loved child, God. Thank you for that gift."

πŸ™ Week 6 of our I AM Series is here β€” and Jesus says something that changes everything: β€œI am the way, the truth, and the life.”

In a world full of confusion and noise, Jesus doesn’t just point us to the right path β€” He IS the path. He doesn’t just teach truth β€” He IS truth. And He doesn’t just show us a better life β€” He IS life.

This week, we explored John 14:1–7 and the beautiful, sweeping story of Scripture β€” from the Garden where God walked with His people, to the cross that opened the way back home.

Three questions to sit with this week:
πŸ‘‰ Do I trust that Jesus is the ONLY way back to the Father?
πŸ‘‰ Am I letting His truth shape how I see the world?
πŸ‘‰ Do I genuinely believe that following Jesus is the GOOD life β€” not just the right life?

Jesus says to His troubled disciples β€” and to us β€” β€œDo not let your hearts be troubled.”
Whatever you’re carrying today, there is a way through. His name is Jesus.

πŸ“– Read John 14:1–7 this week and ask yourself: do I believe in the goodness of God?

We're in week 5 of our I AM series in John's Gospel, and this week's statement may be the most personal one yet: "I am the resurrection and the life."

In John 11, two sisters named Mary and Martha are grieving the death of their brother Lazarus β€” and they're deeply disappointed in Jesus. They believed he could have prevented it. They wondered why he didn't show up in time.

Sound familiar?

If you've ever prayed and felt like God was silent β€” or watched something hard happen and wondered if God really cares β€” this story is for you. Jesus meets your deepest doubts with his compassion and power. He did it for Mary and Martha, and he'll do it for you.

πŸ“– This week: Read John 11:17-44 slowly. Let your questions sit in the story. Look for the weeping Christ. Missed the sermon? Check it here: https://youtube.com/live/_KuJLjEdvA4
