Sunday Sermon Recap 🔥

“Your memory is a form of RESISTANCE!”

Powerful message by Rev. Dr. Todd C. Davidson, Senior Pastor.

This timely word reminded us that some things are too important to forget. Our heritage, our resilience, and God’s faithfulness throughout history are memories that fuel our faith and strengthen our future.

When we remember where God has brought us from, we walk with greater purpose, gratitude, and hope. Our stories matter. Our history matters. Our faith matters.

What memories are you holding onto that continue to build your faith?

This Memorial Day, First Baptist Church of Hampton pauses to honor and remember the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their bravery, selflessness, and unwavering commitment to protecting the freedoms we cherish will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends today, may we also take a moment to reflect with gratitude for those who gave their lives for others. Their legacy of sacrifice reminds us of the powerful meaning of love, service, and honor.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” — John 15:13

We pray for the families of the fallen, for our active service members, and for peace throughout our nation. May God continue to bless and keep us united in faith, hope, and remembrance.

With heartfelt gratitude and deepest respect,
First Baptist Church of Hampton 🇺🇸
