☀️ SUMMER RECAP | WHAT A SEASON! 🌿

What a summer it has been at The River Church! From BBQs and baptisms to fellowship, serving, laughter, worship, and countless moments together, we are so thankful for every person who helped make this season so special. ❤️

We’ve seen God move, watched relationships grow, welcomed new faces, and made memories we’ll be talking about for a long time.

Thank you, River Church family, for making this summer one to remember! Whether you showed up to serve, brought a friend, jumped into an event, encouraged someone, or simply pulled up a chair and joined us, you helped make this community what it is.

And now… 🍂 we’re heading into a new season!

We have some REALLY exciting things planned for fall, and we cannot wait to see what God has in store. From Bible studies and youth activities to fellowship, serving opportunities, and plenty of ways to connect, there’s something for everyone.

The leaves may be starting to change, but God is still doing something NEW!

Women's Fall Bible Study 🍂

Ladies, you’re invited to join us this fall for a new Women’s Bible Study as we journey through, 30 Life Principles, by Charles F. Stanley.

This study will be divided into three parts:
🍂 Fall Study
❄️ Winter Study
🌷 Spring Study

Our Fall Study will be 11 weeks and will focus on biblical principles that help us grow deeper in our faith and learn to live out God’s Word in every area of life.

What a beautiful day of celebration! 🤍

We are so incredibly thankful for the 14 people who publicly confessed Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior through baptism! 🙌🏼

Baptism is a powerful declaration of a life made new in Christ. Today, we celebrate their courage to take this step of faith and publicly proclaim that they belong to Jesus.

We pray that these 14 lives would continue to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ, boldly follow Him, and be a light to those around them.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
2 Corinthians 5:17

What a wonderful Father’s Day BBQ celebration we had this year 🌺🍖

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a joyful day together! Special appreciation goes to those who set up tables and chairs, cooked and grilled all that amazing food, decorated with such fun flair, and helped judge the legendary Hawaiian shirt contest. The creativity this year was next level. Somewhere between tropical paradise and “who let Larry loose in a souvenir shop?!”

Most of all, we want to honor the fathers and father figures in our church. Your role matters deeply. In the quiet everyday moments and the big decisions, you carry a weight of leadership that shapes homes and generations. We are especially grateful for the men who choose to lead their families in the Lord, pointing their households toward Christ with steady faith and love. That kind of leadership leaves a lasting imprint.

Thank you again for making the day such a meaningful mix of laughter, food, fellowship, and celebration. Already looking forward to next year’s BBQ and even bolder shirt choices 🌴

We are excited to announce that The River Youth Group is moving to Wednesday nights!

Beginning this week, our youth group for students in grades 6-12 will meet every Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Come join us for a great time of fellowship, worship, biblical teaching, games, and growing together in Christ. Whether you've been coming for years or are looking for a place to connect, we'd love to have you there!
