HOW MANY VOICES (& noises) are fighting for our attention?
Every day! All day!
Clients, customers, radio, tv, podcasts, sales, phones, alarms, reminders, on and on!
We need to prioritize (& possibly eliminate some of) them!
First - the VOICE of GOD is preeminent!
His Word, His Spirit’s speaking!
If we need to quit some of the non- essential ’noises’ in life, do what you need to do!
Choose Jesus, His Word, His Truth, His Wisdom!

There are seasons when life feels confusing and struggles are unavoidable. You might face disappointment, rejection, loss, or sickness, leading you to question where God is. It's okay to seek His guidance genuinely, but remember your prayers and worship shouldn't depend on your circumstances. Even through hardship, praise remains possible.

Before we say, “Ha! I’m not rich!”, in perspective of the world, America is very rich! We are very rich!
But a worldview is not the point of this verse.
I am blessed to be a lower income American. B/c of various situations & happenings, and GOD being an amazing Provider - Jehovah Jireh!, I own nothing but my car.
Years ago, He helped me become debt free. NOT for any praise or credit to me! NONE!
He uses people with amazing hearts to be His avenues of care for each other, doesn’t He!
Speak with Pastor Fidelis about how God is providing for a hospital being built in Cameroon!!
•• Money means nothing God! And He has no need of it! ••
When the disciples spoke of taxes needing paid, He had a fish with a coin in its mouth for payment!
It is ALWAYS the heart! Where does your heart lie? Making more money for more things? If you are in debt - do your best to get out! It frees you to GIVE yo various ministries that bring ETERNAL rewards and earthly blessings!

When challenges arise, remember that praise is a powerful weapon. Your circumstances shouldn't dictate your worship; your faith should. Whether you have plenty or little, are healthy or sick, facing open doors or closed ones, praise God. It brings victory, no matter what.

What the people said to him, ‘Be quiet!’,
In Mark 10:13-15, the disciples sis the same thing with the children!
I had a similar situation when about 13. Too long to share here, but adults shut down an ‘impromptu’ group of young people going to the altar to pray. Even then it struck me and I remember it to this day! A revival may have been thwarted by the unwitting adults! We must be sensitive to the drawing of the Lord!
Let the children COME! Let the blind, deaf, crippled COME!

Job lost everything, yet declared, 'The Lord gave it, the Lord has taken away.' Paul and Silas, imprisoned, praised God in the middle of the night. Can you still bless God when He takes away? True faith stands firm.

When the doctor's report isn't what you expected, or when you're waiting for answers, can you still raise your hands and praise God? The enemy wants you to cave in. But even with tears and a broken heart, praise Him because He is doing something good, even when you don't understand.

Now these things happened as EXAMPLES for us, so that we would NOT CRAVE EVIL THINGS as they indeed craved them.

GRUMBLE! We often wink and giggle speaking of grumbling/complaining.
GOD DOES NOT! I have been so guilty of this. We think “our God knows I’m joking”.
Where is that written? And it is very contagious! Forgive me, Jesus, for when I have done this. Remind me, Holy Spirit, that God hates it!

Even when walking through the valley of the shadow of death, we can choose to praise God. Your praise doesn't have to stop because of your circumstances. Make the decision today to praise Him, knowing He is with you in the darkness.
