Romans 11:1-2a, 29-32

As our children and so many more head back to school today, let us remember to keep them in our prayers everyday. We invite you to join us today in this prayer.

Almighty God we pray for all the kids heading back to school. First, we pray for their safety. We pray that you would build a wall of protection around them and keep them away from harm every day. Second, we pray that as they learn they would study hard and grow in the knowledge that you've provided. Third, we pray that they would surround each other and offer support and love. That wherever there is one who is lonely they might welcome. And finally, we pray for all the teachers, para pros, staff, bus drivers, and everyone else who gives of their time to help our children grow. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
