Hi Friends! In March, one of our youth, Bruce Slagle, will have the amazing opportunity to serve in the Dominican Republic with the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children (FIMRC). While there he will be training the under qualified medical staff that run the local clinics, and will also be sharing public health education in areas like general health promotion, parental programing, first aid, and diabetes.

He does need help funding his trip, though. The trip will cost $1234.00 not including airfare which is another $460. If you would like to help, donations would be greatly appreciated! If you are unable to donate monetarily, but still desire to help, he asked that over the next few months you pray that his team will lead with compassion and wisdom and for God to cover us in his protection.

Reminder: no youth tomorrow, Sunday, November 29th. Next Sunday, December 6th, those who requested tickets will go see the TRBC Christmas show at 2pm. We will leave the church that afternoon at 12:15pm.

Youth are going to the Thomas Road Baptist Church Christmas Spectacular on Sunday, December 6. We will leave our church at about 12:15pm to arrive in time for the 2pm show. Afterwards, we will do a little shopping and eat dinner in Lynchburg before returning home for an 8pm pick up. Youth tickets are covered by the church but you must contact Jennifer immediately if you want to go. Tickets will be ordered this Monday, November 23. Anyone else wanting to go (friends, family, etc. ) should give Jennifer $15 per ticket by this Sunday. On the day of the trip, everyone should bring money for dinner.
