Sunday service is held at 10 am, with children's church provided -and Wednesday mid week study at 7 pm. Studying the Bible, Verse by Verse:
At Calvary Fellowship, we follow a line-by-line method of study through the entire Bible. We believe that the Bible is God's inspired, perfect, and trustworthy word, from Genesis through Revelation (2 Timothy 3:16). It is our goal for God to make believers and
disciples here in the local church, the surrounding area, and around the world. Join us as we bring the powerful message of our Messiah to the community. Jesus, the Savior of the World:
We believe in God the Father, the Creator of all things (Genesis 1:1; 2:1). We believe that Jesus Christ came to this Earth as the only Son of God, born of a virgin, both fully God and fully man (Isaiah 7:14, John 1:14). He lived a sinless life and was put to death by crucifixion (2 Corinthians 5:21, Luke 23:33). He was resurrected from death on the third day, just as the bible predicted so many years before (Luke 24:7). Those who receive Him by faith will receive the total payment for their sins, the free gift of eternal life, and the empowering of the Holy Spirit, Who leads us daily and empowers us to live in His righteousness (John 3:16). Empowering of the Holy Spirit:
We believe in the filling and indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the lives of every believer (Ephesians 1:13-14). We believe that the Holy Spirit comes "upon" those who are baptized in the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:3). Upon baptism of the holy spirit, believers will receive the gifts of the Spirit as both a sign to unbelievers, and to accomplish God's will for our lives. Second Coming and Eternal Life:
We believe that Jesus is coming again, and that He will return to earth in glory and in power (Revelation 20:4). We believe that His reign will be an everlasting reign, and that His children - whoever enters into a personal relationship with Him - will live with Him in heaven forever (Revelation 21:3-7). Whoever rejects the free gift of salvation will experience separation from God in a place of eternal torment called hell (Revelation 21:8, Mark 9:47-48). Jesus Christ is the Center:
Everything that is done at Calvary Fellowship is meant to bring glory to God - from the way the service is conducted; to how leadership leads by example, accountability, and integrity; to how we pray for the congregation and community. The church belongs to God - He establishes the church and provides for all of its needs (Ephesians 1:22). He calls His children to be a part of His work. We desire to point the community to Jesus (and Jesus alone) so that they can experience the freedom and transformation that comes only in a faith relationship with Him. Like 2 Corinthians 5:17 says: "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."
