The Earth is a greenhouse, not a graveyard. 🌾✨
Saint Macrina the Younger once compared the Resurrection to the rhythm of nature. She understood that we are not separate from the earth; we are one with it. Our current existence is like a “bare seed.” When we return to the earth, we aren’t being discarded into a void—we are returning to the source that nurtures our transformation. 🌏🌎🌍
She saw the universe as hastening and rising towards radiant, resurrected life!
Macrina knew these “godlike marks” mean a total, mystical, universal restoration. It’s not just about a lack of sickness or anxiety. It is a merging with the Divine life so that share in God’s own nature.
We don’t escape nature to find God; we evolve with nature into the Divine. Next time you see a green shoot breaking through the dirt, remember: creation is telling us the story of our ultimate, unified future. 🙌☀️
The lilies of the field are humanity’s older siblings in the divine story being worked out and achieved by and through God’s grace fulfilling and elevating our nature!
