Seerah Jeopardy — Saturday Youth Halaqah Recap

Alhamdulillah, this week our youth spent time learning more about the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as we prepare for his Mawlid.

The boys learned about his character, physical description, and some of his miracles through stories including Umm Ma’bad, ‘Amr ibn al-‘As, Sawad, and Zahir رضي الله عنهم. They wrapped up with a fun Seerah Jeopardy competition, followed by trivia, charades, movement games, soccer, pizza, and some free play.

The girls had their own activities, including word searches, crossword puzzles, hangman, and a discussion on Islam and evolution. They also explored a video about trees, connecting ideas like roots, gravity, and resistance to everyday life.

Alhamdulillah for another Saturday filled with learning, discussion, and fun together.

مسابقة السيرة — ملخص حلقة الشباب يوم السبت

الحمد لله، قضى شبابنا هذا الأسبوع وقتًا في التعرف أكثر على النبي محمد ﷺ، استعدادًا لمولده.

تعلّم الأولاد عن أخلاق النبي ﷺ، وصفاته، وبعض معجزاته من خلال قصص أم معبد، وعمرو بن العاص، وسواد، وزاهر رضي الله عنهم. واختتموا الدرس بمسابقة Jeopardy عن السيرة، بالإضافة إلى ألعاب وأسئلة وألعاب حركية، ثم كرة القدم والبيتزا ووقت حر للعب.

أما البنات، فشاركْن في أنشطة مختلفة مثل البحث عن الكلمات، والكلمات المتقاطعة، ولعبة Hangman، بالإضافة إلى نقاش حول الإسلام والتطور. كما شاهدن فيديو عن الأشجار وربطن بين الجذور والجاذبية والمقاومة وحياتنا اليومية.

الحمد لله على يوم آخر مليء بالتعلم والمرح والأخوة.
