🌿 Community Clean-Up Success! 🌿

On May 12th, Varick Memorial Food Pantry volunteers teamed up with Bergen County Clean Communities to clean Denning Park. In just 2.5 hours, we collected 20 lbs of trash and 40 lbs of recyclables, making the park safer and more beautiful for everyone! ♻️💪

Thank you to all our dedicated volunteers for helping keep our community clean and green. Together, we’re making a difference! 🌎✨

Thank You to Our Community Members!

For Earth Day, some community members came out to help with the Morris Park clean-up—one joined for the first time, another had volunteered last year, and we also had a regular Varick Memorial Food Pantry volunteer lending a hand.

Their efforts made a big difference in keeping our park clean and safe. It shows how when we come together, we can make our neighborhood better for everyone. Thanks to Bergen County Clean Communities.

🌍 Today, on Earth Day 2026, 4 volunteers cleaned up Morris Park in Englewood to raise money in support of the Varick Memorial Food Pantry!
🗑️ 40 lbs of litter + 20 lbs of recyclables removed
🏀 “I volunteer at the pantry, and we play basketball here — it’s great to give back!”

This project was supported by the Bergen County Department of Health Services Clean Communities Program . Together, we’re keeping our community clean and green! 💚
