At the Annual Bergen County Food Pantry’s Summit we ran into one of our new partners. The Diabetes Foundation helps us share information on heathy choices, diabetes prevention, treatment and care. Didn’t expect to see a quote from Bro. LeMar one of our program coordinator.

We also ran into the Bergen County Health Services dept. that did the free flu clinic in the fall at our location. We are grateful to Supernumerary Rev. Charles for connecting us.

Our Varick Memorial Food Pantry members are attending the 6th Annual Bergen County Food Pantry Summit, learning how to operate better to serve more souls. We even got okra seeds right on time for our upcoming urban micro farm. Shout out to Bergen County Executive James Tedesco and Bergen County Office of Food Security.
