Immanuel Lutheran had three young adults confirmed on May 3rd. The confirmands are Meyer Chance, Camdyn Coffman and Tinleigh Schwartz. Study bibles were presented to them from the church with fellowship to follow.

The Camp Okoboji annual meeting was held, Saturday, April 11th. During the
month of March the LWML asked members of Immanuel to help stock the Camp
Grocery Store with Brownie Mix, Chocolate Cake mix and frosting. Because
of our members generosity Mike and Becky Moore were able to deliver 24 boxes
of cake/brownie mix and 17 cans of frosting. The photos above show what was
collected from members of Iowa District West during the Camp Okoboji Grocery
Shower. Blessings Abound!!

Immanuel recognized our 2026 Seniors; Jacie Baker, Mary Fett and Blake Schwartz. Although only Jacie was able to join us we had a lovely time. Congratulations to all three of our very loved young adults. Don't be strangers!!
The Sunday School kids led the service with songs of praise!
Ella Lewis received her first bible after the kids singing was done. She had a smile a mile wide!!
Pastor Wendzel had words of wisdom to share with Jacie and the church presented her with a leatherbound Luther's Prayer Book.
Following the church service cookies and drinks were served.

Immanuel Lutheran was honored to host the 2026 Senior Tea for the graduating senior girls and their guests. Teresa Kent was the chairperson and did an outstanding job with some help from her awesome committee.

The Sunday School kids, teachers and the organist did a wonderful job beginning our Holy Week on Palm Sunday.

If you are unable to attend Sunday services you can scroll to the bottom of the page and click on St. Thomas. That will take you to their web site and the "service" button there will play the current St. Thomas service which has the same sermon as we received that day.
Also the calendar button works again and has been updated to the March calendar. The Worker calendar is separate now but is also up to date.
A huge thank you to Doug Long (from Panora) for helping us update our site to make it more usable.

As Holy week approaches, just wanted to post the services for that week.
On Palm Sunday March 29th the Sunday School children will be singing during the service @ 9:00 a.m. Pastor Riggert officiating.
Monday March 30th @ 7:00 a.m. we host the Association of Churches Holy Week Service. Pastor Wendzel will be officiating.
Maundy Thursday, April 2nd. @ 7:00 p.m. Pastor Riggert will be officiating.
Good Friday Service on April 3rd. @ 7:00 p.m. Pastor Riggert will be officiating.
Easter Services will be:
St Thomas @ 7:00 a.m.
Immanuel @ 9:00 a.m.
Pastor Riggert Officiating.
