This Thanksgiving, community organizations are getting ready to feed more people than ever. One community organization says after nearly 20 years of serving the community, this will be their last event.

Saturday, 11/11/23 Was a busy but beautiful day! Pastor Roger was presented with a love gift from one of our Bridge families. It was a cross made out of railroad ties welded together. Our beloved brother James Ezelle was ordained, our friend Russell Gray led us in powerful worship, and Logan brought us a power-packed word!

We are still seeking volunteers to assist us on our FINAL BRIDGE OUTREACH! Yes, you read that right, our LAST bridge service. Volunteers will meet at 11 AM under the bridge to start setting up. If you would like to join us, please register in advance so that we can guarantee you a spot to serve. We still need many people in all areas and appreciate your help! This bridge is special and this day is going to be memorable! Help us to go out with a bang!

Saturday 11/4/23, was yet another beautiful day under the bridge. We had worship that led us into His presence, and a word that helped mold us into the person we were created to be. We hope to see you on Saturday!

🗣‼️ ATTENTION EVERYONE PLEASE READ ‼️🗣

We are writing to share news about upcoming changes to The Bridge. The board of directors and Pastor Roger have met and discussed the different causes and effects we have been experiencing over the last two years.

-COVID-19- changed our ability to serve and limited our effectiveness.
-Giving - decreased significantly, especially after covid
-Attendance- has been down 75% at times; we have been serving some of the same individuals and families for a few years.
-Volunteers- there has been a drop in volunteerism with the community outside of our core group
-Other groups- Many other organizations and groups are doing homeless ministry in the city, which has caused a decrease in our attendance and reach.

Due to all these factors, after prayer and careful consideration, we have decided to let our Thanksgiving service on November 18th be our last outreach at our 15th Street location under the bridge. We will continue operations with a final outreach throughout the city for Christmas, and we would like to invite you to partner with us financially to help us finish well. The office will close on December 31st.

Everything we have accomplished throughout the years would not have been possible without you partnering with us. We did not take this decision lightly, as many factors took precedence over the outcome. We thank God for the 17 Years of being able to love, serve, give, and share The Gospel with those who were homeless and less fortunate. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 shares that “there is a season for everything, and a time for every matter under heaven, a time to break down, and a time to build up.”
