PASTOR MICHAEL’S MOMENT | THERE’S STILL ROOM

Good morning, family!

I want you to carry one thought with you this week from Sunday’s message:

There’s still room at the table.

Jesus said:

📖 “When you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind.” — Luke 14:13

Jesus was teaching us that the Kingdom of God is not about saving the best seats for the people who can do something for us. It’s about making room for people who may have been overlooked, forgotten, pushed aside, or counted out.

And here’s what I want us to remember:

Grace made room for us.

Before we had everything together,
before we got everything right,
before we could ever repay God for His goodness—

God pulled out a chair for us.

So this week, ask yourself:

Who can I make room for?

Maybe it’s someone who needs encouragement.

Maybe it’s someone who feels invisible.

Maybe it’s someone who needs another chance.

Maybe it’s simply someone who needs to know, “You belong here too.”

Church, we don’t just talk about grace.

We make room because of grace.

So wherever God takes you this week, keep walking together in grace—and when you think the table is full…

pull up another chair.

There’s still room.

🙏🏾 Have a blessed week!

🙏🏾 PASTOR MICHAEL’S MOMENT

Sometimes life has a way of bending us.

Disappointment can bend us.
Grief can bend us.
Stress can bend us.
Things we never expected can leave us carrying a weight nobody else can see.

But Sunday, we were reminded of the woman in Luke 13 who had been bent over for eighteen years.

Jesus saw her.

Jesus called her.

Jesus touched her.

And what had held her down for eighteen years could not keep her down when Jesus stepped into her situation.

And think about this…

When you’re bent over, your vision changes.

When you’re bent over, all you can see is what’s beneath you. You can see the ground. You can see what’s right in front of you. But it’s hard to see what’s ahead.

And sometimes life can bend us so low that all we can see is what we’re going through.

All we see is the problem.

All we see is the disappointment.

All we see is what didn’t work out.

But when you finally stand up, your perspective changes.

You can lift your head.

You can look forward.

You can see possibilities you couldn’t see while you were bent over.

Maybe God hasn’t changed everything around you yet…

but He’s changing the way you see what’s ahead of you.

Here’s what I want you to remember this week:

What you’re going through is not who you are.

You may have been knocked down, but you don’t have to stay down.

You may still have questions.

You may still have scars.

You may still be waiting on some things to change.

But sometimes faith simply says:

STAND ANYWAY.

Standing doesn’t mean you were never knocked down.

Standing means what knocked you down didn’t get to keep you there.

So walk into the rest of this week knowing that God sees you, God is with you, and God is still working.

Lift your head. Look forward. Your story isn’t over.

It’s time to stand up.
