What a relief to know that just because we fail, it's not the end. I compare myself with the best of the best. Sometimes it's one person's marriage or another person's patience or another person's financial stability. The issue is noone is perfect. I love that about CR. We admit our issues and still love one another. God has given us the perfect place for people who aren't.

I was doing a therapeutic activity with a friend this week. We wrote a letter to someone/about a circumstance that hurt us (ALL the ways it / they did) and signed it. Then, we wrote a letter to the same person / about the same circumstance sharing all the reasons we were grateful for it (difficult as the situation may have been). I had to write how it made me grow. It was amazing how my perspective changed....how my emotions about it changed. God changes me constantly (if I let Him). I want Him to change me. I don't want to stay the same...going around the same mountains over and over. I'm thankful (well LEARNING to be thankful) for every situation God allows me to go through.

Come every Friday night where we are learning together to see what God can do with our messes ...whether we created them or someone else!

Sometimes people suffer from what others do to them. I usually suffer because of poor choices I make. God has been so patient with me to change my mindsets, behaviors, core beliefs…showing me where I am off. The good thing is I can do something about that. I can't change other people, but I can submit myself to God to change me.

You matter more than you think. God created you with others in mind and your existence today could be what gets someone to tomorrow.

Imagine for a minute how God could use you to be someone’s world today. Dream for a minute, maybe like Dr. Seuss would have, about how creative you could be in making someone’s day today... and then take a risk and try.

Our forever family is in great need of courageous friends who will reach out to each other just because. Kindness costs us nothing, but may mean everything to those who receive it.
