With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Ms. Mary Ringer. She transitioned to her heavenly home early this morning.

A graveside visitation will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery on Wednesday, May 6th from 1:00–2:00 PM, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 PM.

If you would like to give toward Ms. Mary’s funeral expenses, you may give by check or online. Please select “Alms” and include “Mary” in the memo.

Ms. Mary was the longest-standing member of Eagles Way Church. She began attending as a little girl under the leadership of Pastor E.D. Goss and remained faithful to the house of God her entire life. To say she will be missed is truly an understatement.

Hey sweet ladies we are starting to cook again for Ruston’s Hope on Sunday afternoon. We only have to feed 50 people. So if you want to come to my house and help get the meal ready please contact me. It’s been a while that we are able to provide a meal since Covid. Another way to bless our community.

You don't want to miss this very special Sunday with Dusty & Anna Takle.

Count it all joy....Even through difficulty, God leads us to something better. It's who He is!

In life, we will always face pressures and difficult times. In the midst of these trials, how can we effectively turn to God and activate our faith? How can we tap into the power of faith within us? James calls us to perfect our faith in Christ through perserverance and wisdom. He calls us to a deeper relationship with Jesus by bettering our trust in Him. By faith, we can trust that in every situation, God promises something better.

The greatest battle will always be in your mind. When you're struggling, don't believe the lies of the enemy that tell you:

You're not smart enough.
You're life will never be better.
This is just the way you are, and you can never change.
This is the way it was for your parents and their parents, and this is the way it'll be for you.

These are lies. Don't surrender to them. Take them captive and surrender them to the truth that you are a more than a conqueror, a child of God, and the truth that He is for you.

So many people are for you, too. Call a friend today if you're struggling. Let them remind you who you are. Don't fight these thoughts alone.

God always has better for you.
