About the Pastor: Watchman Edward H. McKnight
Edward H McKnight was born to the Late Rev. Edward Herron and the Late Etheleen McKnight on Janua
ry 16, 1970. He gave his life to the Lord under the leadership of the Late Superintendent Murphy Pace, Jr. of the Rehoboth Deliverance Center C.O.G.I.C. He was called to preach in May 18, 1992. Watchman McKnight was trained through the various classes and seminars of Church of God In Christ. In 1994, he was ordained as an Elder by the Late Bishop Chandler David Owens. On July 4, 1994 the Lord called Elder McKnight to pastor. But there was much work to be done; therefore,, he continued his faithful service at Rehoboth Deliverance Center C.O.G.I.C. Even after the death of Superintendent Pace in 2008, Elder McKnight remained as a humble servant under the leadership of Pastor Bettie Ann Pace. After a “Jonah experience” on March 23, 2010, Elder McKnight would accept the Lord’s calling to pastor. It is at that appointed time he would plant Ascending Temple of Holiness Church. Ascending Temple of Holiness Church held its first service on May 2, 2010 at 211 North 13th Street in Griffin, Georgia. McKnight was accepted, charged and installed as Pastor of Ascending Temple of Holiness Church on April 6, 2014 by Prophet Warren L. Allen, Officiant and the members of A.T.H.C. Watchman Edward H McKnight remains a servant of God and God’s people. “So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.” Ezekiel 33:7 KJV
Watchman Edward H McKnight is in a matrimonial covenant with Lady Cassandra H. Together the two of them have reared five children: A’Detrius, Rayfus, Johnathan, Johnitra, Aliyah, and Sierra. Their children are rearing five grandchildren: Rayfus, Rayquel, Cavante’, Aiyanna and Christian.
