A message from Pastor Craig ⬇️

Every great story leaves us leaning forward.

· What happened?

· Did they make it?

· Will there be a sequel?

After Jesus rose from the dead, His followers had their own version of that question:

· Now what?

The Book of Acts answers it. The Holy Spirit came. Ordinary people got brave. The Church found its feet, then found its voice, then started changing the world.

This summer, we’ll walk through Acts together in a new series called The Rest of the Story. And here’s the good news: Acts is not just the rest of their story. It’s the beginning of ours. Jesus is still writing His story through everyday people like us.

I want to keep pointing us back to this: God does some of His best work through ordinary people who simply say “yes.”

This Sunday was a beautiful reminder that Jesus still meets people on the shoreline. 🌊

We celebrated a baptism, welcomed new church partners, and reflected on the grace-filled story of Peter in John 21... a story of restoration, calling, and Jesus meeting imperfect people with love instead of shame.

What a gift it is to be part of a church family where people are taking next steps, finding community, and following Jesus together. We’re grateful for every story represented in these photos and excited for all God is continuing to do.

Every good story leaves us wondering what happens next. After Jesus rose from the dead, His followers had the same question. What now? The Book of Acts tells the rest of the story.

The Holy Spirit showed up. Ordinary people found courage. The church began to move, grow, and change the world. This summer, we’ll discover that Acts is not just the rest of their story. It’s the beginning of ours.

Sermon Short 📹
Sometimes faith looks like someone beside you whispering, “Hey… I think Jesus is closer than you realize.”

In John 21, the disciples were tired, discouraged, and staring at empty nets. It took someone else saying, “It’s the Lord,” for everything to change. That’s what community does.
