A believer in Christ has a sincere desire to have effectiveness in prayer. One of the most descouraging things in our Christian life is when our prayers feel weak and powerless. The Apostles asked Christ to teach them how to pray. In Luke 11:5-13 Jesus teaches us how to pray, not just what to pray.

Power In Prayer: Jesus teaches the disciples how to pray in Luke 11:1-4. Powerful prayer begins with Abba, or Father. Knowing who it is you are praying to and reverencing Him. Few things, if any, are hallowed by us anymore and God should always be one.
