NCCFGreenwood We believe that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, as the last and eternal sacrificial Passover Lamb, a New in 2020, sort of.

Let's call it a birth born of frustration with denominational religions and their preoccupation with man made law versus a true focus on love, outreach and ministry. The goal is the same, the methods are different. Leadership is made up of a mix of those who came to Christ later in life and those raised in the church. Pastor John was not raised in the church. There is nothing like the passion one has for Loving Christ and loving people when you have experienced conversion or rebirth as an adult.

What you (hopefully) won't notice during Sunday Worship.

Praise Teams spend hours practicing. Team members practice individually and with the group in an attempt to use their skills to bless your experience and enhance your openness to a full spiritual connection with God. They are not there to showcase their talents and recognize those talents are God given and to be used in His service.

All Praise Teams are different and use different methods to achieve this objective, but even with all the practice, sometimes mistakes happen, or there are technical issues that can be disruptive. Whether they are acts of Satan or our failure to be fully engaged, it happens.

In our case, we open each practice with prayer. Occasionally, when we don't feel as practiced as we would like, that prayer includes, "may God fix it before it hits their ears".

Enjoy Worship. Be engaged and participate in the corporate singing. Learn new songs, but pay attention to the lyric, that is why a song is chosen...for the message it brings.
