Many of you know and love Kenny Harrison, our Facilities Director. After nearly 30 years of managing type 2 diabetes, Kenny is now facing end-stage kidney failure and is in need of a kidney transplant.

This week, an email was sent to our church family sharing more about Kenny’s journey, how you can be praying, and information about becoming a potential living donor.

We invite you to take a few moments to read the full update and join us in praying for Kenny, his family, and God’s provision in the days ahead.

🎉 POP UP SUNDAY! 🎉

Today was one of our favorite Sundays of the year as every child and student officially moved up to their next grade level!

We celebrated in style with bubbles, popcorn, dirty sodas, games, laughter, and a whole lot of excitement for the year ahead. Seeing new faces step into new environments and watching friendships begin to form is always a reminder of what a gift the emerging generation is to our church.

At CCG, we don’t just believe kids and students are the future of the church. We believe they are a vital part of the church right now. We love investing in them, cheering them on, and helping them take their next steps with Jesus.

And the fun is just getting started!

🌮 Student Ministry will be celebrating summer with Breakfast Tacos during the 11:00 AM gathering.

If you have a child or student, we’d love to have them join us next Sunday. It’s going to be a great summer at CCG!

We’re excited to welcome our new Lead Pastor, Todd Allen, and his family to CCG this weekend!

Todd will officially begin serving at CCG in July, and we’d love for you to join us at our 9:30 or 11:00 AM services this Sunday to meet him and his family in person.

As part of the weekend, Todd will also participate in an on stage interview with our elders. If you’d like to submit a question ahead of time, you can send it to [email protected].

We’re looking forward to this important and exciting new season together as a church family.

🔟 days until POP UP SUNDAY! 🎉

Promotion Sunday is almost here! On June 7, all students from Kindergarten through High School will officially move up to their next ministry environment as we celebrate a brand new season together at CCG.

Before the big move, though… we still have one more Sunday together THIS weekend on May 31, and we can’t wait to make it count. 🙌

Then on June 7:

This past Sunday night, we had the honor of celebrating our graduating Seniors at Recharge. ❤️

These students have left fingerprints all over our ministry. They have worshipped boldly, served faithfully, grown deeply, laughed loudly, and helped shape the culture of our student ministry in beautiful ways.

Watching them lead one final time from the stage was a gift.

To our graduating Seniors: Thank you for letting us walk alongside you in such important years of your story. We are incredibly proud of the people you are becoming and excited for all God has ahead.

Church family, help us celebrate this amazing group and pray for them as they step into this next season!
