In 1979, one man chose to adopt nine baby girls that no one else was willing to take together. What happened decades later is remarkable.
After losing his wife, Laura, Richard Hayes was left with an empty home and a promise he could never forget: “Don’t let the love stop here. Share it with others.”
One evening, he visited a local orphanage and learned that nine infant girls were at risk of being separated because no family wanted to adopt all of them.
