Pastor: Rev Mike Sauls Reformation Lutheran Church is a place of grace. God loves you and so do we.

We welcome all God's people as we strive to live as a community of God's healing presence. Gathered and fed around the Word and Meal, we experience God's love and forgiveness and are equipped to be His hands and feet in our hurting world. Reformation Lutheran Church strives to be a loving, forgiving, concerned community of God's people. Living under God's Word and united in faith and worship, we s

eek to proclaim the good news of God's love by reaching out to those in need both near and far. To equip ourselves for the tasks of witness and service, we pledge ourselves to worship, learn, and offer our support through prayer and Christian stewardship. If you are looking for a church to call home, please come worship with us.

Don’t forget to come to the Courthouse today at 5:30 for the reading of the Declaration of Independence. This is being done today in cities and towns throughout the country to celebrate the first public reading of our Declaration. Members from Reformation will be readers of the document and singers of patriotic songs. Come celebrate your country and support your community, congregation and kids- plus, there is free apple pie!

“When, in the course of human events. It becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another…” We have memorized these words from the Declaration of Independence which was signed July 4, 1776, but did you know the first public reading of the Declaration did not happen until July 8 when it was read by Colonel John Nixon on the steps of Independence Hall in Philadelphia.
Cities across the United States will be hosting community readings of the Declaration of Independence to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declarations first reading.
Greeneville will celebrate the Spirit of America on July 8, 5:30-6:30 at the Court House steps by doing a community reading of our Declaration. President George Washington will speak and there will be a musical performance from members of the Greeneville cast of 1776. Top Dog Hot Dogs will be there, plus, FREE apple pie. The cherry on top for our congregation though is the fact that Reformation youth have been chosen to be in a chorus that will perform during the reading- only 11 kids, and our congregation has six of them- that’s something to be proud of. Please come out and support them, our country and our freedom Wednesday July 8. The children are very excited- you get apple pie and get to hear Nolan sing!
