The Samaritan woman came to the well carrying more than a water jar. She carried a past filled with mistakes, disappointment, and shame. Yet when she encountered Jesus, He knew everything about her—and still chose to speak with her.

What a beautiful reminder that Jesus knows the whole story of our lives. He knows the things we try to hide, the mistakes we regret, and the places where we have fallen short. And yet, He does not reject us. His truth brings healing, His grace brings forgiveness, and His presence gives us a new beginning.

The woman came to the well with a past, but she left with a testimony. She went from hiding to telling others, “Come, see a man.” Her past no longer defined her; her encounter with Jesus did.

God: “Don’t.”
People: “We did.”

And that’s why we all need Jesus.

The good news is that our failures are never the end of the story. God’s grace is bigger than our mistakes.

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8

Thank God for His mercy.
