You don't wait until you understand why you're praising God, or until life feels okay, to begin. You start praising anyway. And somewhere in the middle of it, you find you've shifted too, your perspective, your heart, your posture, moving the same way worship itself just started, without waiting for permission or clarity first.

Our part is the choosing. Showing up to worship even when we don't feel like it, opening our hands, offering praise as an act of will and obedience. God's part is the actual transformation, the reshaping of our hearts and perspective. We don't manufacture the shift, we position ourselves to receive it.

Think of it like opening a window versus making the sun rise. You don't cause the light. But you do have to open the window for it to reach you. Praise is the opening, not the source.

Some seasons of marriage don't look like the highlight reel.

They look like short tempers, no sleep, and long days that blur into each other. They look like two exhausted people who barely had a real conversation this week.

And somehow, even in the middle of all that, you're still reaching for each other. Still showing up. Still choosing this.

That's not failure. That's love running on fumes, and it still counts.

If this season has felt more like survival than connection, Journey to Us was built for exactly this. Two days to slow down, reconnect, and remember why you chose each other in the first place.

Oct 23-24 at Greeley First. $40/couple through 9/30.

See You Sunday 💙🩵

There's nothing like watching a 3-year-old bow their head to pray. No pretense, no performance, just simple trust that God is listening.

Jesus never asked kids to grow up before they could come to Him. He welcomed them exactly as they were, and He's asking the rest of us to come the same way.

What would it look like to pray this week with a child's kind of faith?
See you this Sunday as we continue our series Life Well Lived.

What's flowing into your heart right now?

Jesus said it plainly in Matthew 5, sin doesn't start with the action, it starts with the heart. Long before adultery, there's lust. Long before the visible mess, there's a polluted source.

Sunday we talked about the heart like the headwaters of a river. Whatever gets introduced upstream shows up in everything downstream. That's true of what we watch, what we scroll, what we let ourselves dwell on.

Here's the good news: Jesus wasn't giving us a list of rules to make us feel worse about ourselves. He was showing us what real freedom looks like, guarding the source so the whole stream runs clean.

Sometimes that means radical, practical steps. Deleting an app. Ending a relationship. Getting accountability. Not because God wants to punish us, but because He wants us to flourish.

Wherever you're at today, His grace is enough to cleanse anything. And that grace isn't just forgiveness, it's an invitation to walk forward differently.

This week, take a minute to ask yourself: what's polluting my headwaters? Then take one honest step toward Him with it.

Sunday looked like this 🤍
Raised hands. Whispered prayers. Kids stepping into the spotlight. A little letting go. And conversations that lasted longer than they needed to.
Nothing fancy. Just real. See you next Sunday.
