Gratis Church of the Brethren Our goal is to follow Jesus simply,peacefully and together. We are to continue on til He comes We are a Church that believes in the Bible as the Word of God.

We believe that Jesus came born of a virgin, and was perfectly sinless. We believe that He also died for our sins and on the third day He rose again. We also believe that He is coming again very soon. Get Ready!

Which Jesus do you follow?

The biggest problem we face is people who forget - or ignore - the fact that we are made in God's image, believing instead that we can make Jesus into our own image.

Think about it...

If you don't want to believe in the biblical teaching on sexuality, you create LGBTQ Jesus, who tells everyone they can do whatever they want.

If you are greedy, you make prosperity Jesus.

If you are a conservative, you create gun-tottin' Jesus, and throw in a reference to Jesus overturning the tables at the temple.

If you want to be the god of your own life, you create Jesus, the good teacher.

If you are a feminist, you create social justice Jesus.

If you are a "man's man," you create meat-eating, bourbon-drinking, Harley-ridin' Jesus.

But friends, Jesus is Jesus. He doesn't conform to the image you have created in your mind. He doesn't become what you want Him to be.

Instead, we are to conform to Him, and His ways. ~ Chris Widener
