What is true joy? Is it found in new shoes, morning coffee, or temporary pleasures? This Easter, we discovered that biblical joy runs deeper than any circumstance.

True joy is rooted in the gospel: Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose on the third day. The women who came to Jesus' tomb expecting death encountered the unexpected—an angel's announcement and the risen Savior himself. Their fear turned to great joy as they clung to His feet in worship.

Jesus calls us "brothers" even when we've deserted Him. He invites us to draw near, to cling to Him, to experience the living hope that only resurrection power provides. If you find yourself distant from the Lord today, He's calling you back. This is your moment to encounter the risen Christ and discover joy that circumstances can't shake.

The tomb is empty. Jesus is alive. And that changes everything.

We pray for Your Spirit to lead and guide us. Your Word is a lamp for our feet, especially in these dark times. Even as children of light, we must learn Your ways. Thank You for this reminder and for Your provision to live for Your glory.
