Memorization Plan — Week 37 | Promises of God

"Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the one who takes refuge in him!" — Psalm 34:8

This verse is an invitation, not just a statement. David isn't just telling us God is good, he's inviting us to experience it for ourselves. To taste it. To see it firsthand in the everyday moments of our lives.

Where have you tasted God's goodness lately? Maybe it was an answered prayer, an unexpected provision, or simply peace in a hard moment. Whatever it looked like, that's Him inviting you deeper.

Take some time this week to memorize this verse. Write it somewhere you'll see it often, and let it remind you to actually look for His goodness, not just believe in it.

Week 37 of 52 — a new prophet and a pivotal chapter in John.

This week we open the book of Amos, a short but sharp call for justice and faithfulness among God's people. We're also finishing up 1 Chronicles, moving through Numbers, spending time in Psalms and Proverbs, and reading the short but powerful letter to Titus.

Don't rush past Saturday's reading. John 16-18 covers some of Jesus' final words to His disciples before the cross, along with His prayer for them and for us. It's worth slowing down for.
