We witnessed a beautiful expression of God’s grace as Katie Heape publicly professed her faith, and was baptized into the body of Christ.

Through the water of baptism, she was welcomed into God’s family and into the life of the Church, reminding us of our shared call as disciples of Jesus. Especially meaningful to see her step immediately into service, helping serve Holy Communion alongside the Reverend truly a powerful picture of faith in action.

With joy and thanksgiving, we welcome our new sister in Christ and celebrate what God is doing in her life. ✝️

This Sunday, treat your father to lunch at Panda Express on Patterson Road (by the Mall) — and at the same time, help us raise funds for our outreach programs.
Each week, we reach out to the middle school down the road with our after‑school ministry, offering treats like popsicles, popcorn, or hot cocoa, depending on the weather. Your participation helps us continue showing care and encouragement to these students and other ministries.

We are grateful for all she has shared with our congregation and members were honored to gift her with a handmade quilt filled with her favorite things, including plenty of kitties 🐱.
