Ways to Help Those Persons Impacted by Recent Flooding in WV

1. West Virginia Wesleyan College announced that there is a great need for extension cords, diapers, and feminine hygiene products in Upshur County due to the flood. Greg Cartwright is filling his van with those items and taking them to Buckhannon on Thursday. All items for donation must be brought to the church by noon on Wednesday,
July 29th .

2. Message of Freedom Ministries will accept the following donations in their Fellowship Hall on Wednesday, July 29th between 4:00pm-8:00pm and will transport them to
Buckhannon: trash bags; bleach; mops; buckets; shovels; gloves; wipes; toiletries & hygiene products; and diapers.

3. The WVUMC Disaster Response Ministries suggests that the most meaningful help for WV communities is financial support. If you want to do this, you can write a check to Church of the Good Shepherd with this on the Memo Line: WV Flood Relief/Disaster
Response. All checks and money will be sent to the WV Conference.

4. We will be packing flood buckets soon.
