Worship service at 9:30 a.m., followed by
Sabbath School at 10:45 a.m. A fellowship lunch is provided after services end on most days. The Grafton Seventh-day Adventist Church is part of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church, a mainstream Protestant, Christian denomination with approximately 22 million members worldwide, i

ncluding more than one million members in North America. The Seventh-day Adventist Church seeks to enhance quality of life for people everywhere and to let them know that Jesus is coming again soon. Our services are on Saturdays, the seventh day of the week and the Biblical 'Sabbath day,' hence our name of "Seventh-day" Adventist. We worship on that day in observance of God's 4th Commandment and because it was the day when our Lord worshiped (see Luke 4:16). Other than that difference, our services are typical of many traditional Protestant Christian churches. We open with a familiar hymn, then we share testimonies and prayer requests, and sometimes we are blessed with special music from one of our members or friends. We want our young children to value the worship service, too, so we try to include a short message just for them before the sermon is presented. Following the worship service we have Bible classes for various age groups. We'd love to have you come to visit and worship with us soon!

Would you like to strengthen your marriage? Are you in a relationship, thinking of marriage, and want to make a good start? Consider joining us for a weekend with "I Forever Do Ministries" when they bring their popular Christian Marriage Relationships workshop to Grafton on Friday-Sunday, September 19-21.

Admission to this short series is free! A donation of $25 per couple will be requested at registration to help us pay for this event, but donations are completely voluntary. If giving more than that, or less, or none, you are still welcome, and it will not affect your participation in the workshop.

These presentations will emphasize relationships within Christian marriage, but it is not exclusively about marriage and will speak to relationships in other situations, too.

Free child care will be provided.

Come and join us on Sunday, Sept 14, beginning at 5:00 pm. We can't tell you the name of the movie, but we're sure that kids and adults will enjoy it.

We'll have popcorn, drinks (tea, hot chocolate, juice, soda), cookies, and maybe some other snacks. It's FREE, so we hope you'll come!

Our next Supper Club is approaching!
Do you love the flavors of Italy but try to be careful of the calories and fat? This Supper Club session will feature healthful options for Italian style foods. Join us for delicious eating that won’t bother your conscience or your waistline. For each of the foods featured in the session, you’ll find a recipe you can take with you to prepare at home.

Everyone is welcome, and as always, attendance is FREE!

Our church building will not be open on Saturday, August 16. We will be joining our two other district churches for outdoor worship at the Valley Falls State Park, in pavilion no. 2. We'll start at 10:00, with a shared lunch at noon, then a mini-concert followed by a trail walk for anyone interested. "Mountain of Miracles" -- that's the theme of our Vacation Bible School this year, beginning on Monday, July 21, 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Sessions will run each evening through Friday, July 25.
