Brethren, I’m out with the Jeep, but freezing rain has started pouring. I can’t even keep my windshield clear.

I am sorry to announce that we will not be hosting our annual New Year's Eve sing after services this evening. We have several that have colds and flu, and then with the possibility of a snowstorm in the forecast, it was decided that we will not be staying after Bible study to bring in the new year.

Just to clarify, we WILL be having regular scheduled Bible Class this evening from 7 - 8 p.m. We WILL NOT be staying after Bible Class to bring in the new year.

We have 14 inches of snow on Wilson Ridge this morning!

Services are NOT canceled, because there are a few of us that live here on the ridge and do not have to navigate the main roads, nor the hill coming up to the church building.

Brethren that are not close, or do not 4X4’s with winter tires, please air on the side of safety in making your decision.

The lot is not cleared. With this much snow, I am considering taking the Kabota and scooping it out, instead of trying to plow it with Jurassic (the Jeep).
