Thanks for everyone who came out to our Trunk-Or-Treat tonight!

This week in the “Cub Bible Club”, students read about the invisible attributes of God that are clearly seen in His creation (Romans 1:18-25), and discussed the difference between general revelation and special revelation.

10/28/2026

We’re hosting a trunk-or-treat on Saturday night and hope to see you there! All are invited to fellowship with us as we share sweet candies and share the sweetness of knowing Christ in salvation.

Last night the Sandy Creek Baptist Association had their 268th fall gathering, and our pastor was nominated to serve on the Church Strengthening Team alongside Travis Bodine from Mt. Olive and Stephen McCarty from Bear Creek. We’re thankful to be part of this association that values the local church and is focused on seeing the Great Commission fulfilled.

Some of our men went to Boone this week to help Baptists on Mission in the rebuilding effort from the damages caused by Hurricane Helene in 2024. The Lord allowed us to install the flooring for a family who’s been without a house for over two years, and allowed us to fix an electrical issue in another house. Please join us in praying for the many people in Boone who are still suffering losses from this disaster, and consider going to Boone to help in the rebuilding process.

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” - Galatians 6:2

Last week in the “Cub Bible Club”, students discussed the canonization of the Old Testament and New Testament books. It’s important for us to understand why each book is in the Bible, and what we can learn from them.

10/15/2026

Last week in the “Cub Bible Club” students read the introduction to Luke’s gospel account (Luke 1:1-4) and learned about the tens of thousands of biblical manuscripts that’ve been discovered and prove the historical accuracy of the Biblical writings.

10/03/2026

This week in the “Cub Bible Club”, students learned about how the Word of God makes them a complete person (2 Timothy 3:16).

09/24/2026

Today in the “Cub Bible Club”, students learned that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God (2 Peter 1:20-21), and wrote down some of the benefits/results of knowing the Bible well.

09/17/2026

It was great to have our first Bible Club meeting of the school year this afternoon. This will be our sixth year equipping students to know what the Bible is and how to read it well. Please join us in praying for this ministry.
