🙌 Service Recap | Can You Handle the Truth? 🙌

Today, we continued our series, "Can You Handle the Truth?"

📖 "They refused to love the truth and so be saved..." — 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12

One of the most challenging truths from today's message was this: we can become comfortable carrying lies.

Over time, lies can become familiar. We carry lies about ourselves, our identity, our past, our worth, and even about God. What starts as deception can become a place of comfort if we're not careful. But God never called us to be comfortable with lies—He called us to be transformed by truth.

🔥 Some people would rather protect a lie than confront the truth. 🔥 Truth disrupts deception. 🔥 Truth exposes what we've learned to live with. 🔥 Truth may be uncomfortable, but it is the doorway to freedom.

The enemy wants us to agree with lies, but God is calling His people to love the truth—even when it challenges us, convicts us, and requires us to change.

Today, we were reminded that freedom comes when we stop defending deception and start embracing the truth of God's Word.

Thank You, Lord, for loving us enough to confront us with truth. May we never become so comfortable with lies that we reject the freedom You offer.

💙 Happy Father’s Day from Ignite Church Tulsa💙

Today we celebrate and honor the fathers, grandfathers, spiritual fathers, mentors, and father figures who faithfully lead, love, protect, and serve. Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the prayers you pray, and the example you set. We appreciate you more than words can express.

As we celebrate, we also recognize that Father's Day can be difficult for many. Some are grieving the loss of a father, navigating a strained relationship, or carrying wounds from a father's absence. To those hearts, we pray God's comfort, healing, and peace surround you today. 🤍

Take a moment to hug your father, call him, honor his legacy, or simply thank God for those who have fathered you well. And if today is hard, know that our Heavenly Father sees you, loves you, and is near to the brokenhearted.

"Just as a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him." — Psalm 103:13

🙌 CAN YOU HANDLE THE TRUTH? 🙌

We're still in this powerful sermon series, and God is continuing to challenge, confront, and transform us through His Word.

📖 "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." — John 8:32

✅ Truth must be ABIDED in, not just agreed with.
✅ Truth exposes bo***ge before it announces freedom.
✅ Truth is not against you—it's trying to FREE you.

The truth may be uncomfortable, but it is necessary. Freedom begins where denial ends. Don't run from what God is revealing—lean into it and allow Him to do a deep work in your heart.

Today we honor, remember, and celebrate. ❤️🖤💚

Juneteenth marks June 19, 1865—the day the news of freedom finally reached enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued.

As we reflect on this significant day in history, we celebrate the resilience, faith, strength, and contributions of those who endured and overcame. We also recognize that true freedom is found in Christ, who calls us to walk in truth, unity, justice, and love.

"Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed." — John 8:36

Today, we remember the past, honor the journey, and celebrate the freedom we have today.

🙌🏾🔥 We remain postured in worship. 🔥🙌🏾

No matter the season 🌦️, our response is the same—WORSHIP. 🎶✨ In every victory 🏆, every challenge 💪🏾, every transition 🚪, and every promise fulfilled 🙏🏾, we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus 👑.

Worship is more than a song 🎵—it's our surrender 🤍. It's our declaration 📣 that God is worthy of it all! 🙌🏾 As a church family 🏡, we will continue to seek His presence 🔥, lift our voices 🎤, and give Him the glory He deserves 👑✨.

📖 "Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation." — Habakkuk 3:18

Father, I really need You."

Those words became more than lyrics—they became our cry. ❤️🔥

At Back to the Altar Worship Night, hearts were surrendered, burdens were laid down, and the presence of God met us in a powerful way. As we lifted our voices in worship, heaven responded. There was healing, refreshing, freedom, and a deeper hunger for the Lord.

This wasn't just another worship moment—it was a reminder that our answer is found in His presence. When we return to the altar, God meets us there.

Thank You, Jesus, for every life touched, every heart awakened, and every moment spent at Your feet.

🔥 CAN YOU HANDLE THE TRUTH? 🔥

Truth doesn't just comfort us—it confronts us.

We learned that truth exposes what we've tried to hide. Truth reveals deception, uncovers compromise, and shines a light on lust so that healing and freedom can begin.

You cannot be delivered from what you refuse to acknowledge. The truth of God's Word doesn't condemn—it liberates. What is exposed in His presence can be healed by His power.

"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." — John 8:36

No masks. No excuses. No hiding.

The truth is not against you... it's fighting for your freedom.

Sunday at Ignite Church Tulsa, we continued our sermon series, "Can You Handle the Truth?" and took a deeper look at the reality of deception.

Truth doesn't just comfort us—it confronts us. God's Word exposes the lies we have believed, reveals the areas where we've been deceived, and leads us into the freedom found only in Christ. Real transformation begins when we allow the truth of God's Word to search our hearts and align us with His will.

The atmosphere was filled with conviction, revelation, healing, and breakthrough as God called His people higher. We are not settling for surface-level Christianity—we are pursuing truth, no matter the cost.
