Vineyard Church North Phoenix

Vineyard Church North Phoenix Vineyard Church North Phoenix is a church committed to transforming ordinary people into extraordinary followers of Christ. We started with only 2200 sq. ft.
(1269)

Vineyard Church of North Phoenix started in September of 1985 with just a few people in a home Bible study led by Brian and Thora Anderson. That Bible study led to a nondenominational church plant called “Our Father’s House Fellowship.” By 1987 the church had grown very little numerically but God was doing some wonderful things in the hearts and lives of all who were attending. He was starting to

knit hearts together and raise up more leaders. On March 29, 1987, with about 25 adults, we moved into a retail strip center as our first building. and expanded steadily for the next several years. In July of 1987, Brian and Thora went on a ministry trip to Ireland with the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Anaheim, California. While they were there, God spoke to them about affiliating with the Vineyard movement and coming under the covering of John Wimber. Our Father’s House Fellowship had always had the same values, priorities and practices as the Vineyard and it was an easy name change and transition. By late 1991 we had outgrown the strip center and, through some miraculous events, we moved into the Brookwood Commerce Centre on January 24, 1993. We moved onto our new church campus of 35 acres of land at 6250 West Peoria Avenue in January 2002. As of February 2004, we had over 3500 adults and children attending Vineyard Christian Fellowship of North Phoenix during our five weekend services. In 2006, we changed our name from Vineyard Christian Fellowship of North Phoenix to Vineyard Church of North Phoenix. We are on an incredible journey with God and our goal is to follow Him with all of our hearts as He leads us. We welcome you on this journey with us!
