❤️ A SMALL ACT OF KINDNESS CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE!

A friendly reminder that Hope United is still collecting feminine hygiene products (tampons and maxi pads) to benefit Operation Liberty Hill, an organization serving our neighbors in need.

For many women and girls, these basic necessities are not always affordable or readily available. Yet dignity, comfort, and personal hygiene should never be luxuries.

We invite you to bring your donations to our Sunday worship service and help us make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

Because loving our neighbors isn’t just something we preach. It’s something we practice. ❤️

💙 HOPE UNITED IS NOT SHY ABOUT THIS! 💙

Throughout October, Hope United is collecting essential items for Operation Liberty Hill, an organization serving some of our most vulnerable neighbors.

We recently learned that feminine hygiene products are particularly difficult for them to obtain. Why? Apparently, many churches and religious groups are a little too "shy" to ask their members to bring such items to church.

Well, Hope United is NOT one of those churches! 😊🌈

We are unabashedly asking our members and friends to donate TAMPONS, MAXI PADS, and ADULT DIAPERS!

Because there is nothing embarrassing about meeting basic human needs. And there is certainly nothing embarrassing about compassion!

❤️ Please bring your donations to church this Sunday, October 25, or next Sunday, November 1.

Other items listed in the graphic are also greatly appreciated.

SAME CHURCH. SAME ADDRESS. A DIFFERENT ROOM! ❤️🌈

Due to water damage in our usual worship space, we continue to gather in the Library Room of the Heritage Oaks Clubhouse.

And you know what? There is something rather beautiful about worshiping together surrounded by books, stories, and centuries of human wisdom!

Our space may be a little cozier than usual, but our welcome is as wide as ever. ❤️

After all, the Church has never been about the building. It’s about the people who gather, the love we share, and the God who meets us wherever we are.

Same building. Same address. Same loving community.

We look forward to seeing you at 10am this Sunday! 🌈

We may be temporarily “exiled” from our usual worship space, but we are discovering something unexpectedly sacred about gathering to pray surrounded by books.
There is something beautiful about celebrating faith in a room filled with human curiosity, wisdom, stories, and the endless search for truth.
Perhaps it’s a gentle reminder that God is not confined to sanctuaries, and neither is the Church.
Wherever we gather in love, we are on holy ground. ❤️

We pray for our q***r, transgender, bisexual, le***an, and gay siblings, as we mark this National Coming Out Day, that we all may have the strength to claim our experiences; the space to be imperfect, vulnerable, and in process; and the courage to embrace our power.

For all who feel desperate or alone, especially all LGBTQIA+ people who lack community, that they may know the company of loving friends and supportive family, and that they may have the creativity and fortitude to envision new spaces and give birth to chosen families.

For all those who come out only to face rejection, discrimination, or persecution, may they know the care of a compassionate neighbor, may their wounds be given the time and space to heal, and may their hearts be comforted by the presence of justice.

For our faith communities, as we strive to do the ongoing work of welcome and solidarity, that we may be a community that honors the journeys of LGBTQIA+ people, nourishes their spirits, and celebrates their gifts.

For our world, that we may acknowledge the gifts of the Community and be transformed by them. That we may create a society rooted in love, grounded in justice, and strengthened by difference. Amen

After two weeks of worshiping at a temporary location due to water damage, Hope United is returning to Heritage Oaks Clubhouse!

While the main hall is being renovated, we’ll gather in the clubhouse library, conveniently located in the same building.
