Greetings Genoa Trinity United Methodist Church family,
I am honored and grateful to introduce myself to you as your new pastor. My name is Pastor Mark Kuhlman, and I come to you with a deep love for the Church, a commitment to the Wesleyan tradition, and a heart that is eager to walk alongside you in ministry, worship, and mission.
I am genuinely looking forward to getting to know you—not just as a congregation on Sundays, but as a people called by God to live out the gospel in Genoa and beyond. I believe strongly that the Church is not a building or an institution alone, but the living body of Christ, knit together by grace and sent into the world in love.
As we begin this journey together, I am expectant. I am praying with anticipation for how God will move among us—through our worship, our prayer, our service, and our shared life. I believe the Holy Spirit is already at work in this community, stirring hearts, opening doors, and preparing us for what is ahead.
My hope is that together we will grow in faith, deepen in discipleship, and discover anew the joy of following Jesus Christ. I am excited to learn your stories, to listen well, to serve faithfully, and to discern together where God is leading us as a church.
Most of all, I look forward to ministry with you—not simply ministry to or for you, but truly with you. We are partners in the gospel, and I am grateful to begin this next chapter alongside you.
With gratitude and hope,
Pastor Mark Kuhlman
