Disasters are inevitable, but assisting those left to put the pieces back together is up to us. One of the channels of helping is Lutheran Disaster Response. We can support financially ahead of a disaster, so that funds are ready immediately, or give when there is a specific call to help after a hurricane, tornado, earthquake, or other disaster.

Your gifts in support of Lutheran Disaster Response help our church provide immediate relief, such as water, clothing, gift cards, tarps and other needs.

We are praising God today because another container arrived and was unloaded! Our container to Madagascar landed in Antananarivo, containing 1,026 items and weighing 33,433 lbs. Here is what it had on it:

2,376 digital thermometers
2,822 LWR quilts
4,310 LWR baby care kits
5,178 gowns
18,518 masks
99,077 gloves
867,690 gauze/dressings

We thank God for the work of Raymond in the country, helping to get it cleared and unloaded, and for all of your work prepping and packing it!
