What does it truly mean to follow Jesus? In Luke 9, we see three powerful movements: Christ feeding over 5,000 people from almost nothing, Peter's bold confession that Jesus is "the Christ of God," and Jesus' sobering call to deny yourself, take up your cross daily, and follow Him.
The same Christ who multiplied loaves and fish is the sovereign King who meets our needs in abundance, reveals His identity to willing hearts, and calls us to reorient our entire lives around His kingdom. As Jesus told His disciples, whoever loses his life for His sake is the one who will truly save it.
Are you willing to pick up your cross daily? His kingdom is worth more than our comfort, our preferences, and our plans. Christ is enough. Come worship with us and be reminded of this life-changing truth.
