I saw this post on the page of a sister church over in the Mill Village, Malone Baptist Church.
I don't know how long it's been since you have walked into a new church, for whatever reason it may have been but if you have, you know it can be overwhelming to say the least.
Connecting is important. This just reminds me, that when a visitor attends, you may not know the "Why" they are there, but they should never feel alone or isolated.
Our Church, like all the good churches in our neighborhoods and communities are made up of imperfect people, leaning on a God who loves them, who restores them and substains them. To pretend we are more than "leaning on the every lasting arms" of our Lord, is a dangerous game.
If you are looking for a church family who loves the Lord, and loves you, consider one of the many churches in our communities who will lift up Christ, but also lift you up.
We are Walnut Park Baptist Church, 300 Wilson Street, Gadsden. and we would love to meet you.
Malone Baptist Church, Located 1117 Dwight Ave in the Mill Village, Pastor David Carroll.
Freedom Church, located in the heart of Alabama City [New location], just off Wall street, Pastor Bruce Word.
Cherry Street Baptist Church, 520 Cleveland Ave, Pastor Philip Elliott.
Bellevue Baptist Church, 150 Noccalula Drive, Gadsden, Al. Pastor Brad Mullinax.
James Memorial Baptist Church, 2125 Ewing Ave, Gadsden. Pastor Matt Johnson.
There are many other churches in your neighborhood who would love to see you this Sunday.
The problem isn't there are not enough churches, the issue may very well be that you have not found your place in church that is leading you too. Attend a church this week. Pastor Phillip Mathis
