Is He your King…
or is He your king
in name only?

When obedience gets uncomfortable,
do you shout, “Crucify Him!” with your actions instead of laying down your ways for His?

His ways aren’t always easy to follow, but He calls us to a life of obedience and promises, “My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” 📖 Matthew 11:30

The pain of obedience is always less than the pain of sin.

Are you living as if Jesus is actually your King?

Is your faith living only in your head,
or are you putting that faith into action through your hands?

Don’t just say He is King. Live like He is.

Does your obedience to Christ live only on your lips, or does it live in your actions?

It’s easy to say “yes” to God when obedience is comfortable. But what happens when it costs you something? When obedience gets hard, are you still willing to let God use you?

Faith isn’t just what we know in our heads. It’s what gets translated into our hands, our feet, our choices, and our lives.

We cannot be consecrated and comfortable.

If your faith never costs you anything,
Is it really changing you?

Lord, make our obedience more than words.
Make it a life surrendered to You.

A little Monday encouragement for you:

“Where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am with them.” 📖 Matthew 18:20

There’s just something so beautiful about gathering together. We loved having the extra time spent in community with one another at our Worship & Word night.

And honestly...we’re SO excited to be moving to two services starting September 13th to make sure there’s a seat for everyone!

Community isn’t just a “church thing.” It’s part of who we are as the body of Christ. We need each other. We need the encouragement, the prayers, the conversations, the reminders to keep going.

And whether you are reading this from your couch, your kitchen, your car, or wherever you are today, remember this: God is with you. He meets us when we gather in His name, and He is just as present with you in your everyday moments. So this week, let us be people who spur one another on. Smile at the stranger. Send the text. Encourage somebody who needs it. Let them see Jesus. 🤍

Your first ministry is at home.

Your spouse is your first ministry.
Your children are your first discipleship opportunity.
Your family is your first mission field.

How we love them.
How we serve them.
How we lead, forgive,
sacrifice, and show up—
Is a direct reflection of how
we sacrificially serve and love God.

Don’t neglect the people God entrusted to you while looking busy trying to serve everyone else.

“Let all that you do be done in love.”
— 1 Corinthians 16:14

May our homes be the first place where the
love of Jesus is seen, felt, and lived out.
Ministry starts at home. 🤍

What does it really mean to be great?

What if true greatness is simply saying, “Not my will”…but “Yours”?

Sacrifice isn’t just for Sundays. It’s the daily laying down of ourselves—our preferences, our plans, our control—and picking up our cross to follow boldly after Jesus.

What if true greatness is found in full surrender?

What if His way doesn’t look like what we expected? What if the outcome isn’t what we would have chosen?

But what if…it turns out even better because we trusted in Him?

Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Jesus drank from the cup of bitter death for us, in our place. He surrendered fully to the Father’s will.

So the question is—are we willing to follow Him fully surrendered?

Trade your gain for His glory.
Because His way is greater.
