Camp Good Shepherd extends its deepest prayers to the family of the recently reposed Fr. Andrew Eugenis.

Fr. Andrew gave years of devoted service to our camping ministry. He inspired, cared for, and loved every soul he encountered at Camp Good Shepherd. His ministry and compassionate spirit touched countless campers, staff, and families throughout the years.

We extend our deepest condolences to Presvytera Angela; his sons Niko and his wife, Anastasia, Jordan, Teddy, Stefanos, and Markos; and his granddaughter, Angelica.

CGSNJ had a terrific Thursday and fantastic Friday! Campers began the morning with a beautiful Divine Liturgy. They then held a bean carnival bbq Thursday evening that was graciously sponsored by the Pan-Gregorian society. We thank them for their support and generosity. On Friday campers enjoyed Orthodox Life sessions, played volley ball, and enjoyed a neon dance to end the week. We loved having all of our campers this year, and God willing look forward to having them back next year!

Wednesday at CGSNJ was a wonderful day! Campers learned about Christ being the Light of the world, while also enjoy the daily theme of “wacky Wednesday”. We held our annual Water Olympics and campers showed off their skills during CGS Got Talent, and then had a beautiful evening preparing for Divine Liturgy Thursday morning. We cannot wait to see what else is in store for our campers!

Tuesday of Camp Good Shepherd NJ 2026 was terrific! Campers learned about Christ and Creation. They spent hours canoeing, zip lining, playing basketball, and Greek dancing! They ended the day with “Saint Skit Night” in which each cabin performed a skit about the lives of their cabins patron saint! We look forward to many more memories being made!

Monday of Camp Good Shepherd NJ was amazing! Campers learned about Christ and the creation of the world in Orthodox Life. Campers enjoyed activities throughout the day such as rock climbing, zip line, and fishing. In the evening, campers participated in the CGS 500, and they concluded their evening with picking a patron saint for their cabin, and then creating a cabin flag depicting their saint and some things about themselves. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for tomorrow!

Camp Good Shepherd New Jersey is off to a wonderful start! The camp began with an Agiasmos (blessing of the waters) service. Campers then enjoyed an evening of fellowship with included games, songs, and s’mores around the campfire. We are so excited to continue making memories and learning about our faith!
