Christina is back and ready for her 5th and final summer as CGS NJ's Program Coordinator!
She has spent nearly 15 summers at CGS NJ as a camper, counselor, or admin, and hopes to make this year the best one yet. You can catch Christina with an iPad in one hand and a Red Bull in the other, laughing or singing her way through the day. Fun fact, in less than a year from now Christina will officially be a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine! She loves animals almost as much as she loves Camp Good Shepherd.
CGS has and always will be a huge part of her journey to Christ and she prays that it has the same effect on future campers and counselors. Get ready for a week of faith and fun!

Meet our Sheriff/Assistant Program Director, Nick John!

Nick is a member of Holy Trinity in Westfield, New Jersey. He's been involved with CGS since his early days of GOYA as a camper and recently as a counselor. What he really enjoys about camp is getting to share his faith with new campers from across the Metropolis.

In his free time, Nick likes to stay active, explore nature, cook, and watch old movies.

CGS is a special place where Nick grew in his faith, and he's excited to share that experience and Christ's love with our camp family this summer.

Introducing your Girl’s Director, Alex Pirsos!

Alex was raised on Bon Jovi and bagels at St. Nicholas in Wyckoff, and currently lives across the Hudson in the Empire State. This is her 5th summer at CGS and she can’t wait to sing her heart out at the campfire 🔥 (likely ft. the Shrek soundtrack), lead devotionals with cabins, and consume a ridiculous amount of watermelon 🍉.

CGS is the place that helped her encounter Christ for the first time when she was in Goya, and she is overjoyed to share His love with our camp family again this summer.
