Faith Family Worship Center We are a group of imperfect people seeking a perfect savior.

Through the work of the cross we want to pursue people with the same passion that Christ has pursued us with.

What a beautiful Sunday celebrating new life in Christ! 🙌 Congratulations to everyone who took the next step of obedience and publicly declared their faith through baptism!

We are so proud of each of you and excited to see all that God has ahead! ❤️ Let’s celebrate what God is doing and continue praying for these lives as they follow Jesus!

The world will try to tell us who we are. The One who created you is the One who gets to define you.

Take some time this week as a family to talk about what God says about who you are. Remind one another that our past may explain us, but it doesn’t have to define us.

What does it look like to live out the identity God created you to have?

God created both work and rest. Honor both.

"Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." - 1 Corinthians 15:58

When life gets hard, where do you run? What we turn to for comfort or escape can slowly become what we depend on. Before we realize it, something that was meant to help us can begin to have a hold on us.

Take a moment to examine your heart today: Am I running to God, or running to something else?

Whatever you’re facing, you can bring it to Jesus. He is the One we can truly rely on.

Chains don't change hearts. We can try harder. We can make better rules. We can try to control our actions and hide what we're struggling with. But lasting change doesn't come from simply trying harder. Only Jesus can transform who we are.

Whatever has a hold on you today, you don't have to overcome it by yourself. Bring it to Jesus. Jesus is the change that you need.

This Sunday, we’re gathering together to worship the One who brings freedom and reminds us that we don’t have to carry our struggles alone. As we prepare our hearts for worship, come ready to lay down whatever has a hold on you and trust it to Jesus.

Here’s what we’ll be singing together this Sunday. Come ready to worship. ❤️

Read James 5 this week to remember that you don't have to carry your struggles alone. What has a hold on you? Don't hide it. Don't ignore it. Give it to God.

Sometimes bo***ge doesn't look like what we expect. It can be an addiction, but it can also be approval, attention, control, work, relationships, social media, or anything else we continually run to for comfort.

This week, take some time as a family to ask yourselves this. Whatever has a hold on you, you don't have to face it alone. Identify it and give it over to God.

Remember: “What you run to eventually becomes what you rely on.”

Yesterday, we had the joy of celebrating six families who made a beautiful commitment to raise their children in the way of the Lord. As a church family, we commit to standing alongside them, praying for them, and helping them point their children to Jesus.

What a beautiful reminder that discipleship starts at home. ❤️
