Are you a man or woman of faith? Do you trust day to day in Jesus Christ, not just for salvation, but to help you live moment by moment with Him?

Then why are so many of us fearful and full of worry? Why do we fear change in our churches? Didn't God say he had new things in store for us, for His church? Behold, I am making all things new - - Revelation 21:5

The only other option to faith, is control. If we are not trusting in the Lord, day to day then we are trying to live life in the flesh. In the flesh everything is subject to me, it's up to me to figure everything out. In the flesh we are driven by what satisfies our appetites. Pride, self-centeredness, selfish ambition, me.

There is today in 2026, a wonderous freedom to be had, when we come to the end of ourselves and we chose to trade control for surrender. Only a person of faith can fully surrender. A person of control and self-interest cannot. Lord Jesus, you know all about me, my failures, weaknesses, my tendency to control, help me please to trade all these sorrows, for your glorious promises. Forgive me for wanting to run the show, it's all yours. I am thankful for forgiveness, and I am thankful that you have more than just forgiveness to offer for the surrendered heart.

Tonight, we are hosting the Tello family from Paraguay! Service begins at 6:30pm, followed by finger foods and fellowship. Service will be at Pinecrest Chapel.

Good Friday Service (4/18) at 6pm. "His Life for Mine."

Easter Sunday Continental Breakfast at 9am. Morning Worship at 10:15.

This is my favorite season of the year to be in the pulpit. Many consider this to be the most significant week of the Christian Calander. Worship is about what you put into it. I pray that all Christians everywhere would put a little more of their heart into this special season. It's a season of remembrance and celebration.

If we can't get excited and rejoice in the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, then we are truly without hope. Without the resurrection our preaching is useless and so is our faith. Even worse, we are still in our sins. (1 Corinthians 15:12-17)

On September 15th our church will be hosting a patriotic service. We will be honoring local servants who make Fredericktown a nice
place to live. You will not want to miss this service. A meal will be provided following the service.

Good Afternoon. It's been a while since I have posted anything, so here are a few reminders of what's coming up.

1. This Sunday is a Lakeside Sunday. (8/11)

2. Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting resumes on 8/14 at 6:30pm. Service will be in the basement of Red Oak.

3. 8/16 at 5pm is our Pizza in the Park event. Please come and support this outreach event.
