Good morning, happy people! Colossians 4:6 tells us to, "let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you know how to answer everyone." There is that word "always" again! God expects every conversation we have with people to be full of His grace and seasoned with His truth. Wow, what a reminder for us to not just do what Jesus did, but to speak like He did as well. You never know what kind of week people are having. You never know where people have come from in life. That's why it is so important to always offer words of grace and hope so that all may have an opportunity to meet our loving God. There are enough people on social media and in the world telling us how terrible politicians are and how terrible you are if you follow those politicians. There is enough talk about how ugly people are with their words and their actions. Why not be the voice of grace and truth so the world may see a glimpse of the Christ of grace and truth! Just a thought! Have a terrific Tuesday! You have all been prayed over this morning. ❤️

Good morning, church family! After reading a lot of negativity about politics and ugly words being shared across social media this past week, I came across one verse this morning that just stood out. Galatians 5:14 tells us, "For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself". If we could just spend a lifetime getting this one command right in our lives, think about how different our world would be. Immorality would not be the norm. The have's would not look down on the have nots. Burdens would be shared with each other, relying on God, not on governments. Those without a voice would be heard. The weak would be lifted by the strong. Love would always be the answer! As followers of Jesus Christ, it is our job to get this right in our lives today! Jesus showed us how to love each other when He left His throne in heaven and put our needs first and laid His life down for you and for me. Have a magnificent Monday! You have all been prayed over this morning. 😁

Good morning, brothers and sisters! 2 Peter 3:9 tells us that "the Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish..." We get so impatient with God sometimes. we want things done in our time, forgetting that His time is always perfect. We forget that it is He who is always patient with us. I think when we come to this realization, it will help us be patient with others. Thus, making it easier to love our neighbor as ourselves! Have a fantastic Friday! You have all been prayed over this morning! ❤️

Good morning, joyful people! Ephesians 2:10 tells us that that, "we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." It's amazing to watch what God does through us when we daily allow him to guide our thoughts, actions, and words. Yesterday, I was at a store, buying just some shampoo and a card. Little did I know that God had a plan, even at the store. I went to the cashier to pay for all my items. After the young lady rang up everything and I paid her, I said "Thank you so much for your help. Hope you have a wonderful rest of your evening! God bless!" Who knew that those simple worlds would have such an impact on someone! Immediately, she began crying! Oh, no! What did I say to hurt her feelings? I said, "are you alright? Did I say something out of line?" In a very soft voice, she sobbed and said, everyone has been yelling at me and telling me what I have been doing wrong all day today. You are the first and only person to tell me thank you. I continued to give her a few more words of encouragement. As I left the store I realized that that young lady was not having a conversation with me, rather, she was having an encounter with our Heavenly Father. No, I am not God! But it sure felt good to see God speak and shine through me. Yes me, imperfect, unattractive, plane clothed, Joel. God uses anyone who submits to his good and perfect will! So, all you much better looking and outstanding people, get out there and share God's words of love to a world that desperately needs to hear His truth. You have all been prayed over this morning! 😁

Good morning, happy people! Isaiah 40:28-31 says, "Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Yeah, I don't think I can add much to that! Our God is an awesome God! Have a wonderful Wednesday! You have all been prayed over this morning! ❤️

Good morning, church family! Psalms 139:23-24 says, "Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." Since the beginning of time, man has tried to hide his ugly and sinful ways from God. Seems silly to try to hide anything from God, yet we still try. As a little child tries to get out of trouble by covering up his or her mistake, we as adults try to do the same with God. Sometimes, to the point where we don't want God to know our heart. Unfortunately, that will never work, because God created us to love us and to know us. We can't hide from God. So why not just show Him every part of our lives, yes, even the dark secrets, and let Him lead us in a direction that will bring Him joy. Isn't that what it's all about anyway? The enemy wants you to be ashamed of your past and present situations. God wants to use them to have a growing relationship with you. So yes, search me, God, cause I want to know you more and for you to know me! Have a terrific Tuesday! You have all been prayed over this morning! 😁

Good morning, happy people! After Jesus had just finished washing the nasty feet of all 12 disciples', He gave them this message in John 13:14; "Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet." What?!! I need to go around washing ugly, disgusting feet at church? Well, yes! What Jesus is saying is that we ought to have hearts that are ready to serve one another, no matter what the chore is or where the road leads. If we know someone in need of anything, it is our responsibility as Christ followers to help meet that need. And yes, sometimes Christ will ask us to do things that we think are for those bellow us. Well, guess what, if you are a Christ follower, there is no one bellow you! Christ tells us to consider others better than ourselves. If we are truly doing that, we will always serve with a joyful heart, no matter what the task or burden is. Christ did it, there for we should do it as well!! Have a fantastic Friday! You have all been prayed over this morning. 😁

Good morning, joyful people! Many people who never read the Bible like to quote it, saying, "an eye for and eye,and a tooth for a tooth". If they actually read the Word of God, they would find out that is Old Testament, Jewish Law. It's easy to quote that scripture because it excuses our hatred for our enemies. Jesus comes along and tells His followers to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Why? Because Christ wants His followers to be different from the world. He wants followers who love as He has loved. To show the world a changed heart! The cross of Jesus is for both the Jew and the Gentile. His love and grace extends to everyone. That's why God tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:15 to "make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else." So, unless you are bound by ancient Jewish law and have not yet been freed by the grace of Jesus Christ, your job is not to get even but to love your enemy so that they will have an opportunity to hear the gospel message and have a chance to accept God's perfect gift of grace! And when we love people with grace, respect, and dignity, we are worshiping the King of kings! Have a wonderful day praising His name! You have all been prayed over this morning. ❤️

Good morning, brothers and sisters! In Matthew 18:3-4, Jesus tells us, "unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." Why would Jesus want us to become like children? Doesn't he know how kids can drive people nuts? Doesn't he know how little, children know? Why would he want us to revert back into a child like state? The answer is simple! Children are moldable. Children can still be taught. Children can be formed into the likeness of Christ. You see, a child needs to be taught how to hate, how to cheat, how to lie, how to steal, how to look to his or her own needs first. A child can also be taught how to love, how to help, how to serve, how to worship with their hearts. If you don't believe me, then you have never attended a children's worship service before. No one worships God like little children! They give Him their everything, their song, their dance, their voice, their actions, and their little hearts. They are at a moldable age where they can be taught how to look at others as Christ does and to have compassion for people. They don't let the world hide what God is doing in their little lives. They see Jesus for who He is not for what He can do for them. That's what Jesus wants us to become. That's how Jesus wants us to serve and worship Him! Have a wonderful Wednesday! You have all been prayed over this morning. 😁

Good morning happy people!!
Jesus tells us in John 16:33, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." What a message of peace! Knowing that no matter what happens in this world, Jesus has us covered. Notice that there is a huge promise here. Jesus is telling us that when we become followers of Him, we will have trouble. There are some who like to teach that if you follow Jesus, all your worldly problems will disappear. Not true! Jesus tells us just the opposite. We will have trouble. In fact we will probably have more trouble as followers of Christ. But the second promise is even greater! Jesus has overcome the world! Which means, we have the power to overcome anything this world brings down upon us. Knowing that Jesus has our back brings us a peace of mind, no matter what life circumstances we find ourselves in. Just another reason He deserves our praise this morning! Have a terrific Tuesday! You have all been prayed over this morning! ❤️
