Two of our new staff houses are getting roofs! We're thankful to God for tiny glimpses of progress.

This project, unfortunately, hit some major roadblocks this past spring and forced us to hit pause. Although very disappointing, the setback didn't take our God by surprise.

Would you please pray with us as we work with an architect through lots of red tape from the state so these homes can continue progressing?

Our desire is to get our staff settled into their new spaces by winter. Once we have a time line established, we'll be opening our schedule for work groups to join us in making that happen.

🚀🌌 MISSION CONTROL 2026: SENIOR HIGH CAMP — FRIDAY UPDATE 🌌🚀

Which team will come out on top? 🪐🏆

Will it be M.A.R.S. 🔴 or V.E.N.U.S. 🔵?

Our astronauts completed their final launches today, and the competition was intense from start to finish!

🌌 MORNING LAUNCH: THE COSMIC COIN QUEST 🪙🚀

This morning, our teams raced across the entire realm of space!

Astronauts traveled to different stations throughout the outer sphere, checking coordinates in search of valuable cosmic coins. Once a team had collected enough coins, they could return to Mission Commander VanderSchel and exchange their coins for valuable orbs of various sizes. 💰🔮

Sounds simple, right? Just collect coins!

Well...there was one small problem. It was a race against the clock as well as a race against the opposing team. 🚀👀

Astronauts were equipped with shields, darts, and pool noodles to defend themselves whenever they encountered astronauts from an opposing spacecraft. If an astronaut was hit by an opposing team, they were escorted to the Peniel Penitentiary 🛸⛓️ until they could return to the mission.

The goal was to collect as many valuable resources as possible and return them safely to Mission Control. At the end of the mission, the team with the most valuable collection would claim victory! 🏆🌌

🌌 EVENING LAUNCH: MISSION CONTROL MAYHEM! 😂🚀

Tonight's launch was all about having fun!

After dinner, our crews gathered back at Mission Control for an evening of wacky games, laughter, and full participation. Astronauts jumped into every challenge, cheered each other on, and enjoyed one final night of fun together before the end of our mission.

It was the perfect way to finish out our final launches of Mission Control 2026: Senior High Camp! 🚀🌌

But the mission isn't quite over yet...

The scores will be tallied this evening, and then we'll finally find out:

🔴 Will M.A.R.S. take home the victory?
or
🔵 Will V.E.N.U.S. claim the W?
