God continues to provide solutions to every problem His people face! 🙏✨ Reflecting on Sunday’s message from Acts, this text reminds the church that as the body of Christ grows, new needs will always arise.

"And the word of God continued to increase, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem..." — Acts 6:7 (ESV)

The sermon highlighted three powerful takeaways from the passage:

A new need arises: Even in the early days of the Bible, the daily distribution of food to the widow revealed logistical "growing pains" in the fellowship.

A wise solution ensues: The Lord guided the community to select men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit, to serve as the first deacons. This allowed the apostles to devote their hands to prayer and preach the Word without neglect.

A God-glorifying effect continues: By stepping out in faith to address the problem, the church experienced explosive growth. The truth of Jesus prevailed, and the disciples multiplied!

May this Acts narrative be an encouragement that when the Lord allows "growing pains," He is actively raising up His people to serve together, ultimately bringing God all the glory! 🙌🔥

These ladies (and Mr. Chris!) spent their Tuesday morning assembling 153+ jewelry kits to be packed in shoeboxes at our OCC Packing Party in November!

OCC stands for Operation Christmas Child. It is a ministry of Samaritan's Purse. Operation Christmas Child is a ministry LifePoint partners with to send shoebox gifts filled with school supplies, toys, personal care items, and "wow items" to children around the world as volunteers share the greatest gift ever given-- salvation from sin and HOPE found in Jesus Christ alone!

Still reflecting on Sunday's powerful message! 📖✨ We dove into Acts 5:12-42, and the reminder was exactly what I needed: The Lord will faithfully be with His People, so we must serve Him faithfully.

Reading through this chapter in the Bible, as recorded by Luke, shows how the Holy Spirit moved through Peter and John. Here are three takeaways from the sermon titled "Faithfully" that challenged my heart:

✨ Expect great things from God: The towns were filled with signs and wonders as the Lord’s power was on display. The Name of Jesus is truly unstoppable!

⚔️ Anticipate Opposition: When challenged to stop preaching, the apostles boldly declared they must Obey God rather than man. Advice from the world may fail, but Christ’s mission cannot be stopped.

👁️ Look by Faith: Despite the threats they faced, they were told to Go and keep sharing the truth of the gospel.

It’s an incredible reminder that God is always with us, no matter the season. How is He calling you to step out and serve Him faithfully this week? 👇
