This past Sunday's sermon was a powerful reminder that as God's people, we should look different than the world! The Gospel not only gives us eternal life but changes our earthly life!
In Acts 4:32-5:11, we see two ways of living: a Gospel transformed lifestyle, and an unchanged life, focused on self.
✝️ A life transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ looks radically different than the world:
✨ God's people reflect a supernatural unity-- a unified devotion to Jesus, not focused on self.
✨ God's people show a selfless love for others-- rooted in Jesus, and reflected in their words and actions.
✨ God's people live as bold witnesses for Christ-- they have a powerful proclamation and cannot stop talking about how Jesus has saved and changed them.
✨ God's people display amazing grace-- God's presence goes with them and His Spirit lives within them, equipping them as they faithfully live for Him.

‼️ In the passage, we also see an example of those who want others to think they have the fruit of a transformed life, but their heart and actions are focused on self, rather than love for Jesus.
⚠️ The warning: Don't seek the wrong treasure! Don't serve the wrong master.
➡️ Instead, "seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." (Matthew 6:33)
💭 Honestly, ask yourself: Has the Gospel changed you?
