Hello, the Churches of Christ Food Bank #3009 will have in-person shopping this Friday the 5th and next Friday the 12th between 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm at the Harristown Church of Christ 400 Pelham St. Come by to do some light grocery shopping for the Holiday. We are not scheduled for a December giveaway, but for anyone needing food during the month call me at 270-872-9293. Be Blessed! If you know anyone who needs baby food we have two 16 variety packs.

We hope that the recipients enjoy their Special Thanksgiving boxes, Turkeys and Vouchers that was handed out by the Churches of Christ Food Bank #3009 this Saturday. Galatians 6:10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Jesus is the Reason for all the seasons: “It doesn’t cost anything to be nice to others”
During this time of year people become discouraged, disgruntled, disillusioned, discontented, dissatisfied, displeased, disappointed and some even devastated. This may cause people to act out in ways that are not Christian-like, but remember that the devil works with your emotions, but God works with your heart. Trust in the Lord and remember -Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. Philippians 4:8
