Most of us spend a lot of time thinking about what we need to do next. But what if we spent a little more time thinking about who we're becoming?

True discipleship to Jesus is about expressing God's character in everything we do. The way we treat people, the words we speak, and the choices we make every day reveal what is shaping us.

If we're becoming more compassionate, more forgiving, more generous, and more loving, we're moving in the right direction.

God keeps widening the circle when humans try to make it smaller. The Holy Spirit falls on sons and daughters, young and old, servant and free... on everyone!

Yes, we are all different and unique, and God doesn't want to erase our differences. But he does want to redeem them, not by making everyone sound the same, but by making every voice carry the same Spirit.

Who might God be calling you to make room for today?

Jesus does not say, “Keep my commandments, and then I will love you.”
Jesus says, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” (John 14:15)

His love comes first.

Faith in Jesus is not a transaction, but a transformation. When love is genuinely present, it moves, it acts, and it shapes the way we live from the inside out.

How would your life change right now if you stopped striving to earn what God already freely gives?

You’ve heard it said that you can have a personal relationship with Jesus. And that is true, and it's a great start.

But it’s only a start.

We weren’t meant to follow Him alone because faith comes alive in community. So, who are you journeying with?

We live in a world where competing voices never stop calling, and each one is trying to shape who you are and where you’re headed.

Some of these voices feed fear but never courage. Some stir anger but never peace. Some promise belonging, but only if you hide who you really are.

But Jesus is the true Shepherd. He knows you by name, leads you with care, and doesn’t use or abandon you.

So the question is... which voice are you allowing to lead you to life?

Serving means lowering yourself. It means choosing the small, unnoticed things like doing the chore, giving up the better spot, or noticing the person who needs a friend.

What if we stopped asking “whose job is it?” and started asking, “Why not me?”

It's hard to look down on others when you must look up to serve them.

The Resurrection means we are now Easter people: people of hope in a world that needs hope. Because Christ is risen, we know that life wins over death and love still has the final word.

So today, no matter how dark things seem, look for hope and share it with someone around you.
