First Separate Baptist Church of Franklin Pastor: Rev. John Perkins Jr. The First Separate Baptist Church of Franklin, Indiana was started as a mission in a small store building on Hurricaine St. G.O.

with Rev. Fair and two others in attendance. After a few months of services, the church was organized August 27th, 1964 with Bro. Fair as pastor. The association minutes state that the Franklin church was received by letter into the Central Indiana Association on September 11, 1964 with a membership of 10. Later, the church bought a small building on Cincinnati St. one block north of the current b

uilding and remodeled it. Services were held there until 1974 when the church bought the former Nazarene Church at 300 E. Ohio St. The church held its first service in the present location on Father's Day, June, 1974. Church Times:
Sunday School: 10:00 am
Sunday Morning Worship: 11:00 am
Sunday Night Youth Service: 5:00 pm
Sunday Night Worship Service: 6:00 pm
Wednesday Night Prayer Service: 7:00 pm
