What's standing in your way? The Ethiopian eu**ch traveled hundreds of miles to worship, knowing he couldn't fully enter the temple. But when Philip shared the good news of Jesus, everything changed. Upon seeing water, the eu**ch asked, "What can stand in the way of my being baptized?" Because of Jesus, the answer was nothing.

Philip heard God say "GO" and he went. That obedience changed a life forever. Every great movement of God begins when someone listens and goes. Who in your life needs you to be their Philip? Who needs to hear that because of Jesus' sacrifice, nothing stands between them and God anymore?

This week's message from Acts 8 reminds us: we're saved by grace through faith. We respond through repentance, confession, and baptism. If you've been waiting, what's holding you back? Nothing can stand in your way today.

What does biblical courage look like? Meet Caleb. A man who said YES to God even when everyone else said no. At 40, he trusted God could deliver the Promised Land. The people tried to stone him for it. At 85, after wandering 40 years in a wilderness, Caleb stayed ready. He never gave up. He said, "Give me that hill country. My God is bigger."

Your courageous YES becomes someone else's God moment. That neighbor you've been nudging to invite. That conversation you're nervous to have. That step of faith that terrifies you. God moves powerfully through your obedience.

Maybe today is the day you stop saying "tomorrow" and courageously say YES!

Building your life on the rock isn't about following rules, it's about surrendering to Jesus. In Matthew 7, Jesus gives us a choice: build on the rock or build on sand. The cornerstone of the good life isn't obedience to rules, it's submission to King Jesus.

Are you calling Him "Lord, Lord" but living like you're still in charge? Jesus wants more than fans. He wants followers who walk WITH Him, not just work FOR Him. When you fully submit every area of your life to Jesus, everything changes.

If you stopped calling yourself a Christian today, would anything about your life actually change? Jesus is worthy of complete surrender. He's proven His goodness. Will you trust Him enough to let Him lead?

Jesus' teachings have life and death significance. There are two roads, two gates, two destinations. The wide path looks easy, but the narrow road leads to life.

Jesus calls that narrow road "afflicted." It's the crushing of the grape that produces the wine. It's the path He walked to the cross for us. In Matthew 26:28, Jesus said, "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."

The road with Jesus isn't always comfortable, but it leads to life. He was crushed for our iniquities so we could experience true freedom. The question isn't which path is easier. It is: Which path leads to where you actually want to go?
