Building your life on the rock isn't about following rules, it's about surrendering to Jesus. In Matthew 7, Jesus gives us a choice: build on the rock or build on sand. The cornerstone of the good life isn't obedience to rules, it's submission to King Jesus.

Are you calling Him "Lord, Lord" but living like you're still in charge? Jesus wants more than fans. He wants followers who walk WITH Him, not just work FOR Him. When you fully submit every area of your life to Jesus, everything changes.

If you stopped calling yourself a Christian today, would anything about your life actually change? Jesus is worthy of complete surrender. He's proven His goodness. Will you trust Him enough to let Him lead?

Senior Sunday 2026 🎓
Yesterday, we celebrated this incredible group of seniors! Praying for you all in this next chapter of life.

Jesus' teachings have life and death significance. There are two roads, two gates, two destinations. The wide path looks easy, but the narrow road leads to life.

Jesus calls that narrow road "afflicted." It's the crushing of the grape that produces the wine. It's the path He walked to the cross for us. In Matthew 26:28, Jesus said, "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."

The road with Jesus isn't always comfortable, but it leads to life. He was crushed for our iniquities so we could experience true freedom. The question isn't which path is easier. It is: Which path leads to where you actually want to go?

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged." We've all heard it, maybe even used it as a get out of jail free card. But what did Jesus really mean in Matthew 7?

This week we explored the difference between recognizing right and wrong vs condemning others. Jesus warns us to be CAREFUL, the same measure we use will be measured back to us. He calls us to be CONTEMPLATIVE, removing the plank from our own eye before addressing the speck in someone else's. And to be CALCULATING, understanding that not everyone has given us permission to bring weighty confrontation into their lives.

The beautiful truth? While judgment is coming, Jesus came on a rescue mission. His death and resurrection offer us freedom from condemnation today. Instead of waiting to stand before Him with every thought and deed laid bare, we can surrender our lives to Him as Savior and King right now.

Join us this Sunday as we continue our Sermon on the Mount series and discover what it really means to judge with wisdom and grace.

Where do you find your security? Jesus challenges us in Matthew 6 to examine what we're really storing up. The things that feel secure in this world, money, possessions, status aren't as safe as we think. Moths destroy, thieves steal, and markets crash. We have the opportunity to store up for treasures in Heaven, and join Christ for eternity, because of the hope he secured for us on the cross.

Thank you for celebrating with us this past Sunday. We hope to see you next week!
